Leveraging UC resources to launch a biotech company

On a rainy Thursday afternoon we welcomed QB3 Central and about 40 people to an interesting panel about UC resources for budding students and faculty entrepreneurs in the UC ecosystem. We got insights from Prof. Ed Green (Director of QB3 at Santa Cruz, and serial entrepreneur) who moderated a panel including Cameron Pye (CEO & co-founder of Unnatural Products Inc.) Spencer Seiler and Kateryna Voitiuk of Open Culture Science, a spinout from Mircea Teodorescu’s UCSC lab. It was a great opportunity to share resources, ideas and make new connections.
