Testimonials from 2024 QB3-UCSC Interns:

  • “I was a member of the 2024 QB3-UCSC Summer Biotech Internship cohort and had a great experience! QB3 matched me to a partner company, where I worked full time for 10 weeks on a real-world project and gained a wide range of technical and soft skills. My experience was complimented by weekly skill and cohort-building workshops held by the QB3 team. The program proved to be an invaluable experience and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for hands-on experience in industry!” Avirral

  • “This internship experience was an incredible opportunity when it comes to real life applications in the field of biotechnology. As an upcoming senior, mingling with fellow bioinformaticians, and discussing future potential paths, was very useful when considering my options post-college.” Tanvi
  • “Through QB3 I was able to get paired with a growing startup well on its way to Series C in surgical robotics here in Santa Cruz. The experience was eye opening coming from a software background as I got to work with robotic and clinical teams while applying my computer science skills. Proceeding the internship I am trying to delve further into the robotics and biomedical space.” Ishaan
